Coit Tower

If you go to San Francisco take the time to walk up the Filbert Steps to Coit Tower. This is thousands of steps up a steep side of Telegraph Hill lead to the base of Coit tower, then lots more steps to the top. The whole staircase is three blocks long and the view of the city and some of the cities most beautiful buildings is wonderful.

Then walk up the steps of Coit Tower to the top where the view is amazing, the whole San Francisco skyline through the arches. The photo at the top is the famous Transamerica Pyramid, one of the cities great modern buildings.

On the way up the Filbert Steps I was surprised to find homes. People live here, right on the Filbert Steps. An entry way is shown.
