As you approach Abita Springs Louisiana you may spot this sign in front of a private residence. The
wrought iron sign post is shaped like a tree trunk, and the hand painted folk art sign is beautiful, looking better with every passing year and additional speck of rust. Also along the roadway in front of the house are several metal sculptures, including the great little log cabin shown below. Whoever lives here does a great public service to the cute town. This is what community is all about.
