Precious Bread

It is easy to take the abundance of food for granted. In some cultures and countries bread is precious, and a piece of bread found on the street is treated as a special commodity. Here someone has taken a crumb of bread from the sidewalk and set it on a nearby post to be found by a hungry animal, bird, insect, or even person.
