Field of Corn

The Field of Corn is in Dublin Ohio. It was built by a local arts council to honor the agricultural heritage of the area and the home place of a farmer well known for his tasty corn hybrids.

Officially the Sam and Eulalia Frantz Park this place is quite moving and interesting. 119 ears of 6 foot white painted concrete ears of corn. These things are huge ! Set up in stately rows the corn is next to a line of Osage Orange trees that create a space for shade and reflection of this unusual place.
